Recommendation as to choice of commercial floors

If there existed any polymeric floor coating meeting any requirements of operation and application, then... However there is no such coating, unfortunately. So, while choosing the flooring, it is necessary to take into consideration the following:
- Intended load (mechanical, chemical, thermal) - type of production or operating characteristics of an object;
- Condition of the base, on which flooring is applied;
- Cost (budget) of floors and protective coating arrangement;
- Term of laying the floor and conditions of application (new or existing production);
- Aesthetic properties of future floor.
Also while choosing flooring, it is necessary to take into consideration the following issues:
- In most cases it is convenient to combine coatings. For example, at warehouses, close to walls or under racks, where there is no mechanical load it is possible to offer thin-layer coatings, in the areas of transport and customers traffic - highly filled, and at entry and exit zones - thick-layer and highly filled. A great deal of other variants is possible.
- Preparation of the base before coating application is more complicated and labour intensive process in comparison with floor laying itself;
- The thinner the coating, the shorter its life time is.
- Any commercial coating may be made in decorative variant;
- All polymeric floors except for Monile are 100% external waterproofing.
Be happy!
