Concrete additives

 

Superplasticizer С-3 (ТУ 5745-004-43184789-05).

    Superplasticizer С-3 is produced in the form of water solution and dry substance. Superplasticizer С-3 is one of special domestic concrete additives, which is produced by chemical synthesis method. This efficiently distinguishes Superplasticizer С-3 from other additives, the most of which are wastage and have a great deal of side effects.

    Most efficient is the use of Superplasticizer С-3 in the following spheres

Manufacturing of reinforced-concrete, concrete products and constructions: plates, floor panels, pressure pipes coating, solid high-density reinforcement constructions, erection of monolithic constructions, reinforced-concrete constructions, manufacturing of concrete floors and coatings, and also manufacturing of paving slabs and hardscaping.

    Superplasticizer С-3 amounting to 0.2-0.7 % of cement weight allows to receive high-mobility, placeable concrete mixtures, which simplify their laying and compaction, and at the same time to obtain high-grade concrete. Certain interim options are also possible: higher than usually placeability of concrete mixture with its lower water demand with the marked increase of strength, or decrease of cement consumption in case of easily workable or low-slump concrete mixtures during providing of required concrete strength.

    Effects of additive application:

  • Saving of cement up to 17 %.
  • Increase in flowability of concrete mixtures and mortars by 6-7 times, which allows to concrete high-density reinforcement and ordinary constructions.
  • Decrease in concrete mixture water demand by 20 % in course of obtaining even-mobility concrete.
  • Increase in strength, density, and uniformity of concrete, improvement of its structure.
  • Receiving of smooth, high quality right surface of products of different shape.
  • Reduction of working hours during concrete mixture placing.

Methods of application:

1. Mixing with cement and sand during preparation of dry mortars.
2. Dilution in water up to 15-39 % concentration and then- addition of prepared mortar to a concrete mixer upon introduction of the basic mass of tempering water.

Application of Superplasticizer С-3
(Superplasticizing additive GOST 24211-2003), in production of concrete mixtures for concrete, reinforced-concrete, monolithic constructions makes it possible:

1. To save from 12 % to 17 % of cement, and at the same time to use concrete mixtures with flowability П3, П4, П5, which significantly reduces labour content of concreting at a construction site.
2. To use inert materials. - Wave-built sand M grain 1.33-1.48. Crushed carbonate rock, brand "400", fraction 5-20 mm.
3. For concrete of class В 22.5 (М-300) according to GOST 26633-91 п. 1.6.8. the brand of crushed stones should be not less than М-600. Due to application of plasticizing agent С-3. we can use crushed carbonate rock of brand "400", which allows to save at least 10 % of cement.
